Ladybug and Chat Noir

Thanks to the beautiful angel by the screen name bobinzi (on tumbler, and they are a very talented cosplayer) and their sweet message to me saying they were attending Ohayocon 2016 as Chat Noir and couldn't wait to see Ladybug there. This heart warming message lead me to find a new resolve to finish my costume. This sweet heart found me at the con and invited me to join in on the Miraculous Ladybug Meet Up that was happening later that evening. Which thanks to Kollig Art Photography, we ended up having a photo shoot.

I know I don't post a lot of Cosplay stuff on my Deviant Art, but this is one of my hobbies. Overall I'm content with this costume but I am planning on redoing to fix the spots. They were too few and too large in my opinion, so I want to try a new method. While I like the appearance of a reverse appliqué for the spots, I cannot use it on all parts of the costume, like on the seams. So when I redo it I'll probably stick with a regular appliqué to streamline the process and if any spots fall off it will be easier to reattach. But considering this was my first time using spandex, drafting a pattern from another bodysuit and giving myself a two week deadline to complete this all, I am not that disappointed.
